Diamond Dogs is dedicated to animal welfare and does not use pain, fear, or force to train dogs. Decades of empirical research has proven that dogs respond better to positive reinforcement and trust-building. Torie started her career at the esteemed San Francisco SPCA, where she worked with complex cases and rehabilitated shelter dogs. Her canine expertise also includes enrichment, puppy socialization, and mentoring staff and volunteers. Torie also taught public classes at the East Bay SPCA. With over ten years of hands-on experience and a commitment to education, she is a trusted professional in the field.

• Honors Graduate, The Academy for Dog Trainers, Certification in Training and Counseling (CTC): The Academy is an advanced two year curriculum renowned as "Harvard for dog trainers."

• Professional Canine Behavior Consultant (Accredited): Granted by The Pet Professional Accreditation Board, the only independent certifying body that explicitly prohibits punitive methods and mandates humane practices. Currently, only a handful of behavior consultants have earned this rigorous credential.
